Privacy
Last updated October 18, 2026. Short version: we keep the minimum needed to run your watchlist and alerts, and we never sell it.
What we store
- Members: your email address, optional display name, watchlist, alert settings, alerts, and sign-in times.
- Phone alerts: if you turn on push notifications, the browser's push subscription (an endpoint URL and encryption keys) and a short device description.
- Cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and preference cookies (light/dark mode, last news filter). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Browser storage: visitors who aren't signed in can keep a watchlist in their own browser (localStorage); it never reaches our server unless you sign in and import it.
- Server logs: standard request logs (IP address, page, time), kept for security and debugging.
How we use it
Only to sign you in, show your watchlist, and deliver the alerts and email digests you choose. We don't sell or rent personal data and don't use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider and email provider process data on our behalf. Push notifications pass through your browser vendor's push service (Apple, Google or Mozilla) and are encrypted end to end.
Your choices
Change alerts or turn off emails in Settings. Delete your account there at any time; that removes your email, watchlist, alerts and devices from the live database. Backups roll off within 30 days.
